Bake sales are a form of grassroots protest.

About Us

The Bake Sale Project aims to explore and document the grassroots potential of the bake sale. We want to provide mutual aid, resources, and essential strategies for bakers, both amateur and professional, to organize bake sales in their communities. We aim to create an equitable, free, collaborative, inclusive, and radical framework for learning and engagement. We are service industry vets, and we work to confront the gatekeeping tactics and systemic racism embedded in the culture of our workplaces and community, and empower individuals to pursue meaningful change in their own spaces.
